I've had this for almost a month now and felt that it deserved a proper review. This review will focus on the bundle as a whole but will include a little on each individual component. The main draw of this bundle is the savings. Individually, each component added together is well over the cost of the bundle. Even if you didn't want a particular item, it's worth it to get the whole bundle. I'd been looking at the solar panel for a while and it was only a little more for the whole bundle so I figured why not. Nomad 7 solar panel. There are plenty of reviews and videos for the solar panel, so I won't go over the specs but I will answer some of the lingering questions other reviews have brought up. It is light and functions as advertised. I was able to charge my iPhone 5S directly from the panel and had no issues that a few other reviews mentioned about needing the smart USB adapter. If you do encounter this problem, there is an available smart USB adapter which should fix it, though I didn't need it. I tested charging multiple items to ensure that it was compatible and most items worked: Kindle, iPhone 5S, 2 separate spare battery packs, and an iPod. In fact the only thing that wouldn't charge was my PS Vita, might have needed the smart USB adapter for that. The Guide 10 battery pack. This is a bit misleading if you didn't see it. I read the description as it was a battery itself which could store a charge in addition to recharging batteries. That is not the case. The batteries store the charge. While this may have been obvious to others, it wasn't to me. Now why would you get this over, say the Guide 30 charger? Because it recharges batteries. While the Guide 30 charger does have a higher capacity and 2 USB ports, this little guy has another advantage. If you have other rechargeable NiMH batteries around then this gives you the potential to charge up many more items that aren't USB powered. That is exactly the case for me as I have a lot of NiMH AA and AAA batteries that I use for my controllers and remotes around the house. Now I have a source to recharge them all. If that isn't important to you then the Guide 30 probably a better option since it's waterproof. I was also able to recharge all the same items using the battery pack. Rockout 2 Speaker. I tended to agree with the other reviews of the speaker so I won't rehash everything here. Decent speaker, not worth the high price and no Bluetooth. I did use it at the beach and since I didn't have a speaker for my phone it does the job, but there are cheaper and better sounding ones out there. Torch 250. I was actually a bit surprised by this as this was the one item I actually didn't want, but it works really well. It's too big and heavy to use for backpacking, but is just fine for car camping. It's also a great tool for a survival kit as it has a manual hand crank to supplement solar charging. I do like its multiple settings in addition to modes of lighting in : direct light, red light, and wide area spot light (think overhead light). Each lighting mode has several options and intensities. It also has a USB port so you can use it charge devices or store energy in addition to the Guide 10 battery pack. So in summary, a decent bundle. The individual components aren't that strong and some I wouldn't purchase by themselves but the bundle makes it worth it. There are other solar panels out there, you can find the reviews yourself, but this family of products work really well together and you can't find a better deal. Four stars because newer products could have been used, such as their Bluetooth speaker, and the smart USB adapter should have come with it.

Love this kit, it is the perfect complement to any camp. The Torch 250 was the one item I was not sure about and it has become my favorite item in the kit. It provides great light for my canvas tent and it's ability to self charge leaves the solar panel available to charge other item used in camp.
