They feel solid and high quality and are stylish. These should last you a long time. As for comfort, I've yet to hike in them. I cant wait till the temps drop and I can take these in the snow!

Read More So far, I've been wearing these for c. 3 months in Midwest winter. I have yet to have either cold or wet feet, despite wearing them daily on my commute, which includes c. 1-1.5 miles of walking downtown. In terms of fit and cushioning, they're moderately comfortable (I prefer my Vasque Breezes in terms of comfort). I have not tried (nor needed to) them with any more than a single layer of socks, so I imagine they would be fine down to the c. -5 degrees F that we've seen so far if I need them to be.
