I did not take it out on the trail so I couldn't tell you how it performed but just from the feel of it, I returned it.

Read More I walk about 2000 miles a year and go through a lot of shoes. I usually get Merrell Ventilators at about $100/pair. I saw these, and bought 3 pairs for the price of one pair of Merrell's... it was no bargain. First pair fell apart and returned. I thought that it was just that pair.... nope the second did the same. The third pair will not be tested and all will be returned. It's too bad because they felt fine, but are just poorly made. In this case the old saying is true, "you get what you pay for". Pass up the bargain, the time and effort to return these add to the cost.
