Read More these shoes had so much potential...lightweight design, vibram sole, very breathable, cushiony outer, nice reflective details, super comfortable except for one thing - the TONGUE of all things is a disaster. stiff as a board and made of a stiff thin foam material that gouges into the top of your foot/ankle with every step. I have no idea how this made it out of testing to be marketed. it is so obvious as soon as you put the shoe on that you could never actually run in these. I purchased them through the outlet after having good results with other north face shoes but only wore them inside my house for about five minutes before deciding to send them back.
