Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth it I bought this simple kite to take to the beach to wow my 1 year old nephew. In all different wind speeds, this kite would not stay up. Even if it was way up with the wind it would look ok and then nose dive with consistent winds. Not a stable kite. I will be returning this product for another model to see if it changes my mind about prism kites. I do love the portability and easy set up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not So Great This is my second prism kite. I ordered this one after loving the more basic model I had first. I'll agree with the first reviewer that this thing is almost impossible to keep up in any wide speed. I've tried having someone stand 40 ft out (like the instructions suggest), I've tried it in gusty winds, sustained winds. This kite just won't fly well no matter what. I love that it folds up and fits into a small bag much like a hammock would, but the downside is you may have better luck flying your hammock than you will getting this thing to stay in the air.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It doesn't fly well. This is not my first kite, but it's the first I couldn't get to fly in a steady breeze. Lots of other kites aloft, check, long string for takeoff, check, good wind, check, run run run, check. Plop. Rinse and repeat. I love the idea and design, though, so will exchange for a larger one in hopes it will catch the wind better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just won't fly We bought this for a trip to Hawaii to fly on the beach with our 3 year old. We experienced the same problems as other reviewers. The kite is dynamically unstable even in steady winds. Our 3 year old's first kite experience, like the kite itself, was a total dud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Kite Don't know why the other reviewers have sucha ahrad time flying a kite. I bought this for my 2 and 4 year olds and we've had no problem gettin it up in the air as long as there is a nice breeze.
