My iphone was not far from the device, so I don't know how I am having this problem. I will try few more days, but If it does not get better, I will ask for my monwy back.

Read More I love this heart rate monitor. It's easy to put on and just from a glance I can tell what zone I'm in based on the color. Charging it is easy as it fits into any USB device, but you'll want to make sure to charge it after each use. I've found that the battery life does not last very long. It works on most of my weekday workouts (approximately 2 hours), but any workout that is 5+ hours, it will eventually die. It doesn't matter to me though, I love the comfort of having a heart rate monitor on my wrist versus the chest strap. It pairs with my Garmin Edge 810 and my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6). On rare occasions, the heart rate monitor won't provide accurate results (i.e. I know I'm near my max but the monitor says I'm 30 beats below it), but I ignore it and it eventually goes back to normal.

Read More Sometimes it works really well, other times the signal constantly drops out, showing periods of zero heart rate, which I wave to assume seriously messes with the accuracy of an average heart rate... and I can't figure out what is causing it. I use it for the same work outs, in the same places, and sometimes the little chart showing your heart rate tracks perfectly, other times it has drop outs every few minutes. I wear it in the same place on my arm, same tightness... I don't understand the inconsistency. When it does work, however, it is an excellent metric for effort... The heart rate zones are easy to customize, I like the app, it syncs well with my map your run app and my vivosmart...

Read More Happy to ditch the chaffing strap. MIO Link is ok though the blinking lights are of little use for real time feedback. Despite meticulous cleaning, the charger contacts corroded to the point that they are useless. Must be a different material than the contacts on the MIO itself since those are fine. Now have to spend another 15 bucks plus shipping to replace it (or throw out the dead MIO and go back to the strap).
