Read More I was completely surprised by how stable this table was. Had a laptop, external hard drive, DLSR, coffee, bottle of scotch, paperwork etc while traveling, and aside from a little bounce when typing vigorously, I never felt like this table was going to flip or cause my stuff to fall off/spill. Great, and on top of that, it is almost light enough to take on any trip. Alpine mountaineering I still leave it at home, but regular backpacking, it always comes. -

Read More I purchased this table based on my excellent experience with the Flex Lite Chair, and I was not let down. It is well designed. However, some extra care must be made with the table top, because of the cloth surface. It's not aluminum, so you can't treat it as if it was. I was first a bit worried by the flex nature of the table, but testing has thoroughly put to rest those fears. It will support a full 40oz Nalgene bottle on the very corner, with no other weight holding the table down. As a side table for the Flex Lite Chair, its height works well, with my hand naturally coming down to the table top to grasp cups or plates or whatever. If you lean forward in the chair, with a table corner drawn in between your knees, the Flex Lite Table works well as a dinner table. A companion with another chair can use the opposite table corner, and share dinner with you. To save a little trail weight, both the table and the chair (dissassembled) can fit into the table carry bag (4# even, pack weight). I would call this light weight, not ultralight. -

Read More I haven't used this table much for camping yet, but it works great as a work table in the field. I use it combined with my REI flex lite chair and it a match made in heaven. I work in the field quite often and most places I go are very remote and have no offices to speak of. So this table is great for working on paperwork, and eating lunch after a job.
Read More We were really surprised how much mor civilized you feel when you have a table to put your cup on. Obviously not for the ultra-light backers among us, but this table is still pretty light and super handy. Sturdy enough for basic cooking tasks and a game of cards. Very happy with the purchase.
