Rated 5 out of 5 by from A darn nice tent! My boyfriend and I originally had the Losi 2p, as it was one of the only tents that had a pawprint feature when we bought it. We loved the losi 2p as we ventured from Oregon to New York. As we added a second dog to our family, we decided to get the more spacious option for the trip from New York to Oregon. Just a week ago we began our month long journey. We have already been through a heavy rain storm, and setting up at all times of the day/night. It is incredibly easy to set up, and is the perfect size for 2 and 2 large dogs. I can't thank Nemo enough for the Pawprint feature and would highly recommend it for anyone with or without furry friends! It leaves your tent nearly spotless every time!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great features, structural flaws I bought this tent and did the "O" in Torres del Paine in Chile. Overall, this is a good tent with good features but was not up to the task in Patagonia. It is easy to pitch and the pole design is simple. There are great features like the magnetic door tabs and good storage in the tent as well as inside the vestibule, so overall it was very comfortable with plenty of room. Plus it is a good looking tent. The bad - it didn't hold up to the patagonia winds. We were hit with significant, prolonged gusts and despite being tied out in every direction we still had a collapsing tent with the big gusts. The poles are not well designed to take tough winds like that...plus it is a big, tall tent. We wound up with bent poles in 2 corners. Furthermore, we had several nights of rain and we had water soak through low spots in the floor twice even with the footprint, but the rain fly worked well. The tent has a big footprint for smaller campsites, so finding a proper site can be tough. Overall, I would recommend this tent for short backpacking trips with nice weather, or car camping. It is well ventilated and roomy, probably great in warmer weather but got a bit chilly with winds and temps in the 30s. Its not the smallest backpacking tent, but the weight is manageable. It is hard to complain given the fact we had terrible conditions, but other tents were holding up in the same conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the first nine days of life of a tent in Russia No-see-um mesh leaves no chance for Ixodes creep up on you during the exit of the tent. All the bloodsuckers crawling on the mesh were promptly discovered and destroyed. Two days was raining but inside it was dry. I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for our camping trip!! Bought this tent in early October of 2016 for an anticipated Boy Scout camping trip. The full weight of the tent was an astonishing 6 lbs. 6 oz., which makes it easy for anyone to carry. If you want to distribute the weight among two or three people you can, but realistically not really needed. First off, putting up the tent was very easy. A couple of Boy Scouts between the ages of 9 and 10 set up the tent by themselves in a matter of minutes with no guidance. The one piece hubbed pole set was definitely the contributing factor for the easy set up. The unique design and color was also a big hit with the boys. The tent is designed to have two vestibules which were very spacious. We were able to fit two adult (50L) packs, one junior (30L) pack and three compact camping chairs in one vestibule, with no issues. While keeping the second free of gear for easy access into the tent. The inside of the tent was spacious for all three of us and enough room to move around. Temperatures dropped from the low 80’s to approximately the mid 50’s while on our trip. To our amazement we could not feel the change while inside the tent. Additionally, I was surprised to see that none of our gear in the vestibule was wet, even though the mornings presented heavy dew. We are very pleased with the tent and hope to keep it for a couple of trips. We will be purchasing the pawprint in order to preserve this product for as long as possible. Overall this was a great purchase for our family camping trips. I highly recommended this tent and look forward for future purchases with Nemo.

Could you please advise if the NEMO Galaxi 3P Tent has been treated with flame/fire retardant chemicals? Which tents do you sell without these chemicals.

Asked by: LauraK
We require all our vendors to comply with all federal regulations, but do not have specific chemical information, unfortunately. We encourage you to contact NEMO regarding the Galaxi 3P Tent.
