Read More I am a recent convert to park and camping due to my son's Boy Scout activities. That said, I can't really compare this to other inflatables. I can, however, say that we slept like babies on this thing. Even with the rain pounding away, I was smiling in my sleep. At home my sleeper sofa will no longer be serving guests. It is here by replaced. Not the best worded review, but I hope it helps someone. -

The air mattress is amazing, I love that there's so many options for how soft or firm you want it. The "headboard" pillow is great for keeping your pillow on the bed and away from the side of the tent. I have already recommended this to several friends. -

Read More We used to this on two separate camping trips. Overall easy to set up, easy to clean, very comfortable and warm. My issue pertains to durability. After the first trip the "headboard" would not hold air through the night. It had to be filled back up every day. REI does not offer the ability to replace individual parts of the system. REI is glad to allow returns within a year, but after that your outta luck. most people may only use this product a few times a year and durability issues don't surface until after your 12 month guarantee runs out. So good luck with this. I wasn't willing to take the chance on another one so I returned in for a refund rather than an exchange. Good luck! I don't think you'll see this version of the sleep system on shelves for much longer. -

Read More Great system for car camping. Fits perfectly inside the REI Quarter Dome T3 Plus. Pump is sufficient to inflate the mattress without electricity. No instructions are given, so it may be useful to set it up at home before taking it outdoors. I used this at about 50F inside a tent with a rain fly on. It got a little chilly and I put on a blanket on top; it was nice and warm thereafter. Would suggest bringing some more blankets / cheap down comforter if the low is expected to be 50F or less. -

Read More Purchased this item for an upcoming tent camping trip - after a long day of hiking, I went to set up the sleep system but alas NO DIRECTIONS - when you are tired and light is failing, it would have been helpful to have a quick set of directions. The air pump is black and the deflate & inflate are very hard to read - also what are all the nozzle extras for?! The sheets & comforter attach by toggles but if you don't know this well Good Luck! I did get it set up correctly the next day (not hard but directions would be nice) and it kept us plenty warm, even down to 34 degrees. Most REI products have the directions printed somewhere on the item so please consider doing this for that weary camper. Also please have directions on proper laundry care - looks to be polyester percale & easy peasy wash but I do not want to do this wrong & not have any recourse. I otherwise would have given this product 5 stars - it was comfortable, could be adjusted as far as how hard or soft you want the mattress and it kept us warm.

Read More I can't give more than 3 stars and that's a bit generous. The mattress was easy enough to make it comfortable. But the R Value of this thing is terrible. Two nights at 40/45 F respectively and we needed the two extra fleece blankets we packed to stay remotely comfortable.
