Jan 11, 2016Does not have lap distance? This is a good watch for the price. It gets the job done. If you want to be able to see lap distance, don't count on it!

Read More If you are looking for a watch to track heart rate and distances, this is a perfect watch to have. Heart rate monitor and gps tracking is excellent on this watch. Takes awhile to find GPS location but it depends on your area. Only setback I did not like is that my girlfriend had the women version and the watch would somehow read her heart rate and give inaccurate readings. Hopefully Garmin can fix this problem as it is a good watch for running. -

Read More My old digital watch broke on vacation and I treated myself to this beauty. It is easy to use out of the box with "hidden" features like autostop which you can add as you gain in familiarity. I used an UP band to count my steps but now use this with the added bonus of instant progress reports as you go. Liked it so much my wife bought one too before the week was out. The charger is very easy to use as is synching data (I'm on a Mac). The display and buttons are very easy on the eye. GPS works well. If you were cycling vs running, just need to edit the journey type when you synch to Garmin Connect. Maybe one day I will run four minute miles but in the meantime it is easy to tell your runs or walks from your rides. Give it 4/5 only because I'm still in my first month -- so far no issues.
