Read More I bought this devise back in 2012 for my Pacific Crest Trail Hike from Mexico to Canada. This device proved to be a fantastic addition to my gear. It allowed me to charge my Apple phone 3 times when the charging unit was fully charged. I charged my headlamp, ipod and camera as well. It not only lasted the five months that I was on the trail but it is still working to this day as if it was new! I am incredibly impressed by this product and would recommend it to anyone! -

Read More We have 3 charger units from other brands in the household, most of which are used for charging iPhones, although we sometimes charge other items while on the go. *This is absolutely the best made of the bunch.* It's a bit heavy, but in a well-made/durable way. It has enough juice when fully charged to power up my iPhone 1.5 to 2 times before it is depleted. If you are only doing a partial charge, it predictably lasts longer. It works with any USB cord. It charges up using a USB mini. Things we have successfully charged using it: iPhone 4, 4S and 5C Nokia phone iPods (asstd) Kindle Paperwhite Kindle (basic model) Flea bike light Nikon Coolpix Camera Kodak M5370 Camera Things that we could NOT charge using it: iPads (v. 1 and 2) I prefer traveling light, so I use super short charging cords that are only 6 inches long. Small and easy to carry in a purse or pocket, one is a 60 pin for iPhones/iPods, one is a mini USB for use with the cameras. Once charged, it seems to hold the charge for a very long time... like months. I've used this more than once for a long weekend, relieving me of the need to travel with a charge cube for multiple devices. -

Read More Out of the many portable charging devices I've tried so far, this has been the fastest, most effective, most trustworthy, and easiest way to charge my iPhone 5C. Just love it. I purchased this because I wanted to have a way to charge my phone if I find myself away from any charging sources, which I often do. This keeps me up and running giving me at least 2 full charges. If I leave my home with a fully charged phone I figure I can go for 3 days without a wall socket, a computer USB port, or car charger provided I exercise good power management techniques. This little item is an excellent source of power to have ready at all times. Can be used for hiking, camping, power outages, or a survival kit to keep your communications flowing.
