Read More We take our two boys, ages 2 and 4, for rides up to 3 hours. We previously used a Chariot trailer and a very nice bike seat, but we've found they are outgrowing these. We sometimes ride separate bikes and sometimes ride our tandem with the boys behind. We bought two of these so we could have the option of riding two bikes or, by replacing the cargo seat with the seat from the second Weehoo, ride our tandem with both boys behind. We also ordered a footrest for the rear child directly from Weehoo. The kids definitely seem to enjoy this more than the trailer. We've been using it our our daily commute to daycare and the kids are excited to get up in the morning to go ride "their bike". It is narrower than the Chariot (single) so easier to ride in narrow areas, but much longer so harder to turn sharply. Also, I recommend you spend some time getting the tightest connection you can to the seatpost and between the seatpost hitch and the Weehoo arm. None of the shim sizes fit our seatpost width perfectly on our tandem (other bikes were ok) so I adapted a smaller one by sanding it until it was a good fit. I used vinyl tape to tighten up the connection on the hitch also. Eliminating any play in these connections helps prevent wobbling. Also, I need to carry a 15mm wrench anytime we go out with this because the horizontal dropouts require this or you cannot remove the wheel in the case of a flat tire. Overall this is a well made product and looks like it will easily last much longer than we will have need for it. Although I think we may be lucky to get more than a year before the two seat configuration is too tight for them, and then we will be using the two Weehoos separately. -

Read More My 2.5 year old daughter loves this trailer bike. She loves to be unenclosed and able to better interact with nature, weather, and people as we ride around. She likes the dual drink holders and I like the extra storage for water bottles, market purchase, fishing gear, etc;. The bike causes heads to turn everywhere we go. I've found it fairly easy to disassemble and reassemble when I have to put it on my car's bike rack. It tracks very well and is more than rugged enough to take curbs, unavoidable pot holes, and dirt trails. The only downside is that until my daughter is old enough to truly help out with pedaling, you definitely notice the extra weight going uphill. -

Read More This item is well made, and seems over-engineered for my 2 & 1/2 year old but I'm sure she will grow into it. She has moved from an I-Bert to this with little angst. We decided on this instead of a trailer because our child "has to do it herself" and this provides the peddling option. A few of the connections are clunky, i.e. the rear tire is not quick-release. Other adjustable connections could be better designed. It's a bummer to have to remove your seat post all the time to remove the weehoo, which you have to because it's huge & difficult to park. It handles very well, even in high wind. We were skeptical but so far so good. Substantial cargo room, water bottle holders, pockets, etc. - plenty of storage. Not sure if there are multiple tire options or just the one size, it seems to be hybrid size.
Read More Great product - well-designed, well-built. My little girl loves riding with me, commuting to school (even on rainy days, with the canopy attached) or weekend adventures. Also, I have found Weehoo's customer service to be excellent. I lost a bushing for the hitch, and they promptly sent me a new one at no cost to me. Highly recommended.
