Read More I use the lower light setting when walking along a street with lights for personal visibility. The flashing red light in back has made me visible to cars from behind. I use the higher light intensity in darker areas. It has a far reaching beam. The emergency button is nice. Even if your light is off, if you push the emergency button, the front and back lights will begin flashing and a high pitched beep begins. The only negative is that the emergency beep could be louder in my opinion. I feel much safer on my night walks with this light. The hand strap is great! If I drop grip of the light it isn't going to be lost. -

Read More I liked the light so well we purchased a second one for the family. We use them for jogging and walking the dog in the dark winter nights. It fits very comfortably in the hand, is light-weight and very bright. Really like the rechargeable battery as well. My jogging is slow paced so a much quicker runner may not like the "bouncing" of the light as the hand moves, but it is about being seen as well as seeing and it definitely accomplishes that goal. -

Read More Seems like they want to make a good product, although to make it truly ergonomic the head needs to be able to swivel or rotate, to reach an optimal position for running. It looks like it would work well, until you realize your hands aren't straight up and down most of the time while running and to get the light on the ground, you have to kind of hang one hand down instead of jog with it up higher. Ran into an issue charging, it's nearly impossible to hook the charger up "gently" as the instructions suggest, and the circuit board inside pushes out of the way easy making it impossible to charge if you push to hard. I'm on my 2nd one because of this, but I'm going to give it another chance. Compounding the issue is the ridiculously short charging cord. 3"? Come on. There's no way to maneuver the thing into a USB or charger without bending/putting stress on the before mentioned charging receptacle with that short cord. -

Read More Ordered online. Returned it because I didn't realize the rear red light strobes and there is no way to turn it off. Also, was bummed to learn the advertised lumens are accurate only if you put it on "sprint" mode which only goes for a minute at a time. Never tested it in the dark to see if it was okay anyway, because the red strobe was a deal breaker for me. -

Read More I was originally very interested in this product. I like flashlights over headlamps for running, so I did some product research into the various running flashlights. I researched this product on Amazon and saw that it got some bad reviews due to the charging port falling out/being loose. So I didn't buy it. However, a relative bought this for me for Christmas because they thought I would like it. Just like the reviewers on Amazon, I had the same problem with the charging port. Defective. It was totally loose and fell into the flashlight, never to be found again. Too bad. It woulda made a great flashlight - great idea with the hand strap and angled beam. I'd wait until Nathan (the manufacturer) comes out with a new one or just look for another one. Be sure to read the reviews on Amazon! TLDR; defective product. -

Read More An excellent lamp that has 3 brightness settings, a strobe setting, and a continuously blinking "rear" red light so you are visible from behind. Great for visibility! Alarm is a nice feature, although not terribly loud. I'd rate this a five star product, however, Nathan has a problem with the connector cable - the "nib" breaks off and sometimes lodges in the lamp itself (my friend had this happen twice), so exercise extreme caution in plugging the cable into the light and in removing it. Nathan has a bit of a "quality control" issue here, and I hope they'll fix it soon, as this is a great item. It weighs next to nothing and you can barely feel it on your hand. You can let it "hang free" or wrap your palm around it lightly as you run, and it really is as if you are holding onto next to nothing. -
Nov 20, 2014Makes running easy and safe in the dark!Very pleased with this little light. Makes running in the dark a "breeze" as well as safer. Like the downward tilt of the light and the comfortable hand strap. LED bulb is very bright.
