Aug 14, 2014no worries while having your phone in the cockpit!using your iPhone with confidence while getting wet in the cockpit .... so much better than the plastic pouch I used to use! Thinking about getting the same for the i Pad!

May 19, 2014Passed the 'Road Test' with Flying Colors!!So my smart boyfriend bought me this case. I put the case on my phone on the way to a friend's house, we got to the house, I set the phone on top of the car and we all drove away for dinner....

I put the case on my phone on the way to a friend's house, we got to the house, I set the phone on top of the car and we all drove away for dinner...yep with the phone on top of the car!! When we got to the restaurant, I realized what I had done and we proceeded to use 'find my iphone' to locate my phone on the freeway on-ramp. We drove back to the on-ramp, picked up my phone (which only had minor scratches on 2 corners) and I promised everyone in the car I would write a review on REI. We 'road-tested' the life proof case and it survived with flying colors!! -

Read More This case protects against everything it claims (waterproof, shockproof, dirt-proof and snow-proof) and has a better feel than Otterbox cases. I listen to music on my phone a lot, plugged into headphones, the car, home stereo, etc. What I didn't realize with this case was that you have to carry around this 6 inch 3.5mm audio cable to actually listen to anything that plugs into your phone. The male end is threaded and screws into the audio port of the case, this 6" cable has to used if you are going to use any audio cable with the phone because the port hole in case is too deep to fit a regular 3.5mm male end.
