Read More I got these boots mainly for running around town in the winter in upstate NY. I was drawn to these over the numerous other duck boot types out there because they struck the right balance between utility and style. These boots are equally at home with a casual pair of khakis as they are covered in mud as a chore boot. I wish there was legitimate insulation in these like in other similar boots, but the lining does OK with a decent pair of socks to keep your feet warm. Overall they're comfy and give you great protection from the elements with a dash of style.
Read More I had a positive impression of Sorel, from boots I have previously owned. These have a nice outward appearance, but the inside lacks design comfort. There is a very noticeable sharp protrusion of the outside rear area of the toe box, more one side than the other. They also run a bit narrow, which makes this protrusion more uncomfortable. Will be returning them.
