Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality, Perfect for Adventurous Athletes I love the Lowdown slim because the original lowdowns are just too large on my face. These have a nice low profile fit and remind me of a lot of the popular styles you are seeing today from Ray Bans or Oakley. But I find these to be much better quality in the sense that they are geared for athletes and those who are adventurous! The arms on these are really flexible and durable which helps because they do not break easily and can be dropped or even stepped on with better chance of surviving. Furthermore the lenses are scratch resistant and that is awesome. i have dropped these on cement and rocks while hiking and they are still perfect shape. For the price, and life time warranty, absolutely would buy another pair. Thanks Smith!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and cool Smith Lowdown Slim is the best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned! No doubt! These shades are comfortable, durable and cool! They have been all over place with me West Coast, Rocky Mountain and Centro America and I get compliments everywhere for them! Hiking, beachin' it, fishing, RZR rides and everything else a person can do these shades can do it with ya! Thanks Smith!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good lenses! frames could be better whoa! easy on the eyes and colors really stand out. i got the black w/ grey polarized lenses about a month ago and they're great for all conditions. greenery is greener, skies and waters are bluer, haze and glare are cut to almost nothing, and best of all my eyes are cooly relaxed behind these in bright or low light. i tried the regular lowdown and a few other pairs but they were too big on me. i have a smaller dome so i have a hard time finding shades that fit right and these are the best fit i've found in this style. smith's own twist on the wayfarer is a great design for shrunken heads. the frames are lightweight which is nice for all day wear but the quality is lacking. first drop in the sand and the frames showed scratches. i've also noticed some stress marks on the arms where they meet the lens frame. some better quality material and improved hinge design would make these top notch. awesome glasses for the beach, pool, boat or just knocking around in though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and comfortable! I am obsessed with these sunglasses. I like to wear sunglasses when I run but hate the look of typical running sunglasses. I wanted a happy medium where function meets fashion and found it in the lowdown slim. They stay put and don't fog up even on the hottest and most humid days. I only wish they were available with Chromapop!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke first week. The sunglasses broke the first week that I received them due to poor quality. The lenses appeared to be no better then any cheap pair from the gas station. I could not ethically recommend these sunglasses to anyone. I am very disappointed because the prices have risen and the quality has gone down. I bought some cheap pair of sunglasses from Ross that appear to have better lenses and better construction. These cheap sunglasses might actually last. I ask SMITH, what has happened to change your high standards of quality? I excepted a lot more from SMITH and was very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sunglasses I've purchased I'm more than satisfied with the Lowdown Slim sunglasses. I have a relatively small head and ears so finding a pair of sunglasses that fit is usually difficult. These fit perfectly. The nose pads dont feel like they are sticking to my skin like most other padded nose pieces do. I love the lighweight frame and the Chromapop Polorized Brown lens cuts down on the glare flawlesly and I dont even notice I have them on. The Chromapop lens is great and helps with eye fatigue on sunny days hiking or on the water fishing. They are still stylish while being functional. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality sunglasses I love these glasses! A little snug on my head but I like it as these are my "active" glasses that I wear when attempting to be active...so they don't fall off. I really like the rubber nose pads, keeps them on my head when bangin' my head to jams. The amber glass is super clear and I swear it makes an overcast day look lighter. My only sadness is these did not come with a hard case. They are lightweight but don't feel cheap. Also I'm female so I choose the slim to look more proportionate to my head, so I recommend trying on at a store before buying online :D

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sporty look -- but didn't hold up to first day of trail life! These are great looking shades, and I was excited for a new pair of summer sunnies. Smith has been my go-to for years. So when a big mountain biking event came up -- I bought a fresh pair with hopes that these would withstand my bike/camp adventures in the PNW -- usually I only replace Smith's due to losing them. What a bummer that on DAY ONE, these came off my helmet and hit the single-track trail (mostly dirt but a few pebbles too). They got totally gouged right in the center of a lens. This mirrored finish apparently is quite sensitive. WAH!
