Read More Have gone through two pairs of these shoes and they have served me very well, nice supportive shoe with durable cushioning and upper. I would say the shoe has a lot of cushion, however, that is after coming from more minimal shoes. I got between 400 and 450 miles out of both paris of the shoes with little life left in both so I can use them as a backup pair in case I forget my new pair (Cumulus17) or some other reason. I have had no problems with upper durability after putting them through a very snowy, wet, muddy track season in Colorado Spring and hot XC summer training. These shoes dry quickly, if I have a wet morning run I just hang them up and they're god to go for my afternoon run. The outsole durability is also excellent out lasting the midsole for me. They also look great imo. Only complaint is sockliner sometimes holds dust that rubs against heel, but easily resolved with higher socks as one should wear on trails. Shoes have a nice even wear right down the center line.Originally posted on asicsamerica.com

Read More Haven't had a chance to put a lot of miles on these yet. I'm a bigger guy and its hard to find wide shoes with cushioning. Used the shoe finder since I'm under-pronated, high arch, and heavier runner. These shoes fit the bill!!!! I feel like I'm walking on pillows. Running couldn't be better. I used to run only with Asics, but for a few years ran with Nike. Now I'm back to Asics for sure. No shin splints or back aches. I hope the soles don't wear out prematurely as some reviews have stated. So far so good.Originally posted on asicsamerica.com

I decided to try the Kayano and got 400+ miles out of them, but did not like the support. So, I decide to go back to the Cumulus 16 for training. I'm at appox 250 miles on them and the heal sole has completely worn off. I can't use them anymore. Very disappointed in the durability. -

Read More Just loved my Cumulus 15 and decided to buy the newer generation. For my surprise, cushioning is not as good as Cumulus 15, the 16 is much harder. The width is a little bit tighter, but ok. The woven material is not as flexible as it was on Cumulus 15. Teh shoe is great, but comparing to Cumulus 15 I must say it's a downgrade.Originally posted on asicsamerica.com

Read More Although I tend to wear Asics more often than other brands I am definitely not exclusive to the brand. The first thing that I noticed about these shoes were the breath-ability of the material. Lightweight, comfortable, durable materials, and overall color and styling (mine were white and blue). I typically will also purchase Brooks and Mizuno for my running needs. These are on par for that go-to running shoe that won't disappoint.
Read More i tried these shoes they fell apart in two days these are not made for runnig fast. im a decathlete so i train for ten events and i can test out your shoes and give you feed back if their good for long distance or short distance or a good overall shoes i found the asics nimbus modal number 14 was amazing for training. sponsor me
