Read More I purchased this to fill the need for a mattress while waiting for my bed to arrive. It did the job. It did not leak down at all. The pump worked good. I should have used less air and I think the comfort level would have improved. Best part is that you can repack it in the the bag it came in with no problems. I gave it 5 stars because it performed exactly as I expected. -

Read More We purchased this mattress and a twin for an extended family car adventure across the US. After some rearranging, we finally found that for four people, the queen mattress sideways with the twin at the users feet was a great system to keep all of us on the mattress all night long. I used a little paracord to tie around the mattresses and bind them together otherwise they are magnetically similar and push away from each other during the night. We used this mattress about 25 times in the last few months and it has held up fine. The pumping system works well and also has the added benefit of warming up my wife as we are setting up camp in cold weather.The pump works on both the up and down stroke so it is fairly efficient. One of the pumps that we had cracked the foot off in cold weather somewhere in the northern Rockies but it still works. I would buy this again because it is a great value. -

Read More Bought it before going on a camping trip and it deflated completely flat within 2 hours. Ruined my camping trip to Yosemite since I didn't have a back0up mattress. Really wish REI had of tested their product before selling it. Obviously I got a bad one. Took it back to REI for a full-refund. That being said, air mattresses are prone to leaks over time (per other reviewers and REI employees themselves). REI membership only allows you to return an item up to a year, so I wouldn't chance it with this air bed. I would spend the money towards a foam mattress. I learned the lesson the hard way (literally, on the ground:) -

Read More This mattress was extremely comfortable. I brought a plush full-sized mattress cover to add warmth and cuddle factor and it was great. It did develop a hole in the seam the first night that I was unable to repair so I took advantage of REIs return policy to return it. I will purchase this again if I decide to continue with an air mattress, looking at other options. I had to pump this up every 2 hours for three nights after it sprung the leak. I gave it five stars because I think it was a great mattress and the leak was a freak thing. -

Read More Purchased as i was looking for a lightweight camping mattress for airplane camping. I've tried several airbeds as well as cloth covered foam mattresses from the major camping retailers but this one is superior in the categories that were important to me. Weight, pack-ability, comfort, and durability. This is a very durable air bed with the comfort of a thick foam mattress with out the bulky package. I've found it to be very hard when you inflate it all the way, but if you let a bit of air out it is very comfortable and yet very stable. Used it twice for far and I am happy with this purchase.

Read More This is a super comfy air bed that appears to be well put together. We have yet to use this in the outdoors as it is still early in the camping season here in Oregon. Having used many other forms of lux camping pads and such, this one is the one air bed to rule them all! Wife approved, at long last!
