Jun 17, 2015no one can you talk when you actually use phoneI can hear the other person speaking ok. They cannot hear me. Voice is totally muffled. Not sure how waterproof it is as I haven't even gotten that far.

Read More I got this case because I am an avid outdoors enthusiast. I spend a lot of time outside and use my phone all of the time, at first I loved this case. I even bought the adapter for my bike so I could use this case on my bike, but after less then half a year the screen has scratches and the outside rubber is basically all gone. For an $80 case plus $50 for the bike adapter, I think this case should last as long as most people have their phones for, which is usually 2 years. I've tried to leave reviews on the Lifeproof website and they won't let me because it's not an outstanding review. -

Read More Plenty of other cases will reduce damage to your phone, but what I love about the Lifeproof case is that it is COMPLETELY waterproof, which is helpful for anyone who doesn't want to have to keep track of yet another thing while hiking or camping in weather that may change at a moment's notice. The security of having a waterproof case is also very helpful- I can be more adventurous while taking pictures without worrying too much about dropping my phone in a puddle or holding it out in the rain too long. However, I don't want to downplay the shock-proof aspect of the case. I'm pretty clumsy and tend to drop my phone a lot and the Lifeproof keeps it 100% scratch, dent, and shatter- free without adding a whole ton of bulk. It definitely takes up more space than a more minimalist case but that's to be expected. -

Read More This is by far the sleekest protective case out there with all the protection I desire, so that is why I purchased. It has held up as expected for about 5 months until the side silence switch cover ripped away from the case. If you use this button frequently to silence your phone, be prepared for this to eventually fail/tear which opens the phone to dirt, water etc. I did not do the "(basically) send this phone to a professional lab to test and assemble with video proof" warranty registration, I so I will likely not get a replacement. Great case, but it will fail eventually. -

Read More I've had this case for about 5 months now and it is fantastic! I was recently out climbing and while I was taking down my gear at the top of the crag and my phone fell out of my pocket! It dropped sixty feet down the rock wall and landed on rocks! My phone received no damage! The case now has just a few minor scratches! This case is truly amazing!

Read More When I first got this case, the thin piece of cheap plastic covering the iPhone Home button slid off within 4 months. I exchanged it for a new one and had the exact same problem. This case is NOT worth the $80 price tag. One look at the inside shows that there is no kind of padding to make this case shock proof. Even now, I constantly have dust getting INSIDE the "protective" screen. It's ridiculous. In no way would I recommend Lifeproof b/c it does not protect your phone at all. Otterbox would be a better choice.
