Sep 21, 2014definitely worth the moneyIt's a good camera for its size, but I must say that my phone records in 30 frames per second in 4K while the go pro can only record 4K in 15 frames per second

The APP is great and makes the photo sharing a piece of cake. Buy a great quality memory card otherwise the GoPro will freeze on you. -

Read More The capabilities of the GoPro Hero3+ Black are truly impressive. After having some time to test it out it is hard to believe that GoPro was able to fit the all that it does in such a small device. Some people will no doubt knock the audio quality (in particular when it is in the waterproof sealed case), but they are made not so much for recording someones voice but capturing incredible video where other cameras simply cannot, on a helmet, a handlebar, rollbar, your chest, etc. and in a extremely durable case. One other thing to mention is when editing, the Hero3+ black can record very large images which in most editing software including the one that GoPro has on their site (for free) you are able to zoom in post production. For my purposes this works very well. The BLACK addition with its wifi control I find very easy to use with an iphone or similar device. You can control the various features and have a preview (depending on the resolution you choose) of what you are shooting which is nice and start/stop recording as well as turn the unit on/off so long as you have the wifi active.
