Read More Ordered this watch from REI. When i received the watch it was not working. There was a blank screen and following the instructions and pressing the buttons made no difference. Contacted REI and they immediately sent me a replacement watch. The replacement watch came in working order with display showing. The watch worked for a few weeks then it stopped and only a blank screen was displayed. Contacted REI again and they immediately issued me a refund. I think it might be a battery issue and since this is a 2012 model perhaps the battery was activated in 2012 or it's just a bad watch. I've never owned any Soleus product nor have I even heard of them but after my experience with this watch i will stay away from any of their products. -

Read More The light feature illuminates the digits only which I found hard to see. I like the glowing background type of light. I'm not sure if the watch I had was defective, but it kept switching to the 2nd time, and sometimes showed both times. Maybe the large oval face made it more likely that the buttons on the right hand side were accidentally activated. -

Read More If you look at the instructions, it says that the battery must be sent into the factory for replacement otherwise the warranty is void. I replaced the battery and about a month later, it started fogging up, the display went blank and then it kept beeping without stopping. I wouldn't be able to return this as I broke the warranty by replacing the battery myself. -

Read More I wish I had read these reviews before buying this watch. Even at the bargain price of eleven-ish dollars, it's useless now that the battery has died. I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to replace the battery myself without voiding the warranty. I'm going to try to contact Soleus directly (the FAQ on their website says to send it to their service and repair department) but something tells me I'm going to get nowhere. My advice: don't bother, it's a waste of money!
