Read More I have been running a test od the 250 lantern. I fully charged it with the usb and turned it to tyhe lowest single side setting. I started this Jan 5th and it is still on! I did carefully back off the switch from what seems to be the low setting. I do agree that the battery indicators are not accurate - seems stuck on 2 blue lights. Good light - even the low light gives enough light to safely move around.

Read More I recently took this light camping and it worked great. Bright enough, and the battery life seemed great. In fact, I got home after the trip and stored it in my garage, then a couple months later, there was a blackout in my neighborhood. I grabbed my headlamp first, then remembered this was in my garage. Amazingly, it still had enough of a charge to get me through the night. Brilliant! -

Read More I didn't buy this - I received it as a Christmas gift, on the same day storms blew out our power. It was meant to be! This is a fabulous lantern. Recharge by winding, charge up the phone, it is bright, the stand lifts it up to shed more light - well engineered, solidly built, a little piece of genius. Now my son on the east coast wants one. At least I know what to give him for his birthday.
