Read More The size was correct for my foot. Wore these for a few hours indoors before regretfully deciding that two design characteristics made this sandal basically unwearable for me. Foremost is that the front strap has a plastic link that strategically falls immediately on top of and behind the first joint of my big toe. Regardless of whether the strap was loose or snug, the plastic link pressed into the joint very sharply, and especially when climbing or descending stairs. The other problem is that the fabric of the rear strap is so hard that its edges cut into my skin--very stiff and sharp. Never had problems like this with any other sandals before. Local REI store accepted them back as returns without hassle. -

Read More Super comfortable foot bed, Great traction. I wear sandles all year round and i couldnt wear these more than a couple hours. Theres a plastic triangle that holds together the straps thats right underneath the ankle and every step it would push up on the bone. Where the two front straps come together theres another plastic loop that rubbed the skin off both of my big toe knuckles. If your not really doing anything in them youll be fine but if you hike, work or live in your sandals id say no dice. They also get pretty rancid pretty easily.
Read More I bought another style of Rafter's from REI outlet and just started using them a couple months ago. All was fine until this week when I left them in a car in sunny, warmer weather. The lower half of the sandal started de- laminating from the upper half. I am wary of getting another pair of this brand as occasionally, I will leave shoes in a warm car.
