May 7, 2014You feel like running in a sand mixed with liquidIt feels like running in a liquid rubber or sand. Terrible feeling plus I totally ruined my ligaments. Too cushioned for me.

Read More First of all, I'm in 9th grade, and 14 years old. I bought these shoes in October 2013, didn't use them for the first time till November 3rd 2013. I bought them specifically for the use of indoor track practice, nothing else. I have never worn them for anything else. Now, I will say that since November 3rd, they've gotten use five days a week for the past three months, with the exception of a week at Christmas, and three snow days since. My initial opinion of the shoes were that they are absolutely perfect. I love the gel cushion in the heel, they're light and easy to run in. I am a sprinter (short distances) by the way. That is, until, a couple weeks ago, I started finding problems with the shoes. First thing I noticed was that on the bottom of the left shoe, a piece of the tread had come loose and would drag. Then, one day, it just fell off! Now, another piece is loose, and I'm afraid it's going to fall off, and at that point I will not be able to use those sneakers anymore. Also, there is a place where one of the eyelets was completely ripped off and the lace is cut! Both things happened on the same shoe, and although I only have about eight more track practices left, I'm afraid they're going to fall apart before I get through the season! Before you say that I don't take good care of my sneakers, let me tell you that I do. I keep those sneakers in my track bag when I'm not wearing them. I only wear them at practice, I've never even worn them to school, or for that matter even outside unless we were doing a distance run. It's the shoes, there's a problem with them and I'm still trying to figure out what it is, and why they're falling apart.Originally posted on asicsamerica.com

Read More This was one of the few companies where I could find all black tennis shoes in a narrow width (I'm travelling a lot, and so I wanted comfy but not loud-looking shoes). These are great! Fit great, look great, and have held up great so far. Would definitely recommend!
