Read More This was my 4th saddle...still trying to find a good fit. I love the cutout, but no cushioning for the sit bones. My rides are generally 20-30 miles, but looking for the "perfect" saddle for the longer rides. I've done a century and a few metric century rides and will continue looking for a saddle doesn't leave me so sore for days afterwards. This was lightweight. I think with a little wider seat and a little more padding, it would greatly improve the comfort. -

Read More I got this saddle because I was wooed by the specs. Very low weight, very large cutout, and I wasn't concerned about the padding because I was coming from the Selle Italia SLR Superflow which is just as hard. I kept riding it for months, waiting to get used to it, but I never did. The problem is that while the mens' SLR comes in both 130 and 145 widths, paradoxically, the women's saddle only comes in the narrow width. So if you need a narrow saddle, you're in luck. It's an awesome quality light saddle for a great price. If you're like me, and you apparently need the 145 width, your sit bones will rub against the center of the saddle until you find yourself in the middle of a very long climb with tears in your eyes from the pain. I switched to the Selle Italia Max SLR Gel Flow and now I'm much happier. So it's not a bad saddle, it's just bad that it doesn't come in a wider option. -

Read More Wonderful saddle. Best ever! I am serious, I just could not believe how comfortable it was. I was a triathlete for 15 years, and suffered from inflamation in the saddle area every time I was on the bike. There were times when I couldn't ride for the two weeks following a long ride. I tried 10 or 12 different saddles, for ladies and unisex... but nothing worked. I eventually quit competitive triathlon and did not ride anymore for 8 years or so, just the tought of the pain I will have to endure kept me away. Recently, my husband picked up cycling, and I decided to give it a shot. The saddle I had was still hurting me, so I tired two others that were suppose to help... but nothing... until I purchased the Selle Italia SLR for ladies at REI. The very first day, I went for 45min ride, and didn't feel a thing (I mean, no pain at all). I thought I was dreaming. I STRONGLY recommend this saddle for those girls that have been struggling with the bike like I was. Thank you Selle!! Now I can enjoy my rides again.
