Read More I have bought two pairs of these tights. On one pair a large hole appeared in the crotch area after one or two wearings. The REI customer service asked, "so these did not live up to your expectations?" Ha ha, no- not for what they cost. The other pair I still have and they are holding up well... as expected. -

Read More These are so itchy - I could not stand to wear them for 2 minutes. Have no idea how someone could wear them all day. I have SmartWool ski socks and other SmartWool general socks, which are fine. Don't know why these feel so awful, but they went back. Also run very short. I'm 5'9" 135 lbs and ordered the large to be safe. They weren't long enough for me and would definitely have ridden down if I'd tried to keep them. -

Read More I love Merino wool and SmartWool as a brand, but I should have heeded the warning a friend gave me after she bought these tights on my recommendation and said they started to fall apart right away. I couldn't resist the price and bought a pair myself, and the very first time wearing them the material fell apart: a 3 inch hole in the crotch just from standing around in them! This must be why they're so cheap right now, but no tights that fall apart so quickly should cost more than a few bucks. -

Read More These tights are pretty great. I like the design and they are warm and cozy. I wore them around Montreal on a chilly night and was toasty as can be. The one downside is that they are a bit saggy and keep trying to fall down. Not sure if this is a matter of getting the wrong size or having slightly above average length legs. But They were great for the price!
