Read More I got this for my pup. She's a little particular and doesn't like the rain. But willingly walked out in it while camping over the last thanksgiving. And has since worn it as an outer layer while up in Michigan. It's easy to put on. Zips easy enough. And snaps the zipper to keep it closed. Nice detail. -

Read More In prep for Godzilla El Niño, I got this for my 45 lb. Australian Shepherd and we love it. She likes it, it's comfortable and keeps her whole torso dry so makes drying her off easy! Just have to dry her head and legs. She can easily do her "business" with this on. Putting it on is a breeze as well - I just have her lay down, zip it and snap it. I got her a L which fits her fine because she's fluffy. -

Read More I have a short haired pit bull mix, and we are out on the trail for around 5-8 hours, once a week. I really loved this shirt at first when we used it at night during summer backpacking trips, but now that she is wearing it while being active, it has rubbed her really badly on her front legs. We don't have this problem with any of the Ruffwear vest style coats, so if you have a short haired dog and you plan on using this on the trail, I would recommend the K9 overcoat instead. -

Read More We have several other "costs" for Finn, but this one is by far the best. It's pretty easy to get on, and he's very cooperative doing so. We've used this mostly on walks this winter and it keeps him very dry. Trips to the snow, what there is of it this year, have also resulted in him having fun rolling around and still keeping dry. It's especially good at keeping his underside from getting soaked. -

Read More The bottom had to be tailored by a friend who is an excellent sewer, since the coat is for female dogs. I was uncertain whether the bottom material would be waterproof, since it is so porous and breathable. The material is like fleece on the inside and like a running shirt on the outside. So far it has kept Houdini dry in rain and splashing through puddles. The bottom material gets wet on the outside, but stays dry on the inside, even on one hour-long walk. The coat is very soft inside. -

Read More I purchased this for my catahoula mix to wear on our walks, which are typically 45 minutes, and day hiking. His harness slips easily over it and through the last few months of wear there are no visible signs of the harness chaffing the coat. No problems getting it on or off, if your dog is fidgety you may have a hard time with the zipper starting at the neck. It is waterproof to an extent but takes quite a while to air dry.
Read More I'd highly recommend. We have a few Ruffwear products and this one is no different - high quality and practical. Helps to keep our pup dry during long walks on rainy days or while snowshoeing. Fleecy on the inside and zips all the way off which makes it easier to put on. Our dog is a male Toller, 43 lbs - the medium is a good fit for him.
