Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellet I really dig these tights for cold weather running here in Montana. I took them out last night in some frigid conditions and they kept me warm and are very comfortable. Love the locking zippers and the pockets in the back which was big enough to store a house key and a small ipod. I think they will serve well for XC skiing as well! As with the other pieces of Arc'teryx gear I have, the fit, quality of construction, and intended use of product is tough to beat. Kudos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for biking too I was hesitant to purchase these for biking because I couldn't find any reviewer using them for that. And I'm not really a tights kind of guy. I don't even where tight bike shorts unless I'm going to be on it for more than 3 hours. So if you need extra padding on your rides - these might not be for your. But I'm glad I bought them! It never gets below freezing here so I've always been good in shorts on my early morning rides. These are like biking in your pajamas. They're comfortable, warm, breathable; they allowed me to remove a layer from my top and say just as warm. I liked them so much I kept them on after the ride to do some gardening (my kids weren't too happy about that though.) I wish they made a pair I could where to work on casual Fridays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hiking too Got these for winter birding, which can entail quite a bit of movement combined with some standing stock still. Just the tights under knickers are good for cool temps, while the tights under fleecy or climbing pants work for colder weather. They fit and move perfectly, and I appreciate the longer inseam (a problem with a lot of other brands). Based on my experience with other Arc'teryx clothing, they shoud hold up quite well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from these tights move with you very well I've owned these pants for 2 months now and love them. I use them for cycling in the rain and wind, never any issues with cold. The zippers really help tailor the fit, but do get a little tough to pull sometimes. Unzip before putting on and before taking off!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very well made tights Used for some very cold weather cycling and a bit of running. Cons- terribly expensive and probably too warm for much use other than winter.
