Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless -- Wouldn't Sync Bought one of these as a replacement for a Garmin unit that did exactly the same thing this was intended to do (until a mishap), working with a Bontrager head unit. Couldn't get this one to sync, and wasted an hour or two checking batteries, verifying that it was getting a signal from the magnets, etc. Gave up and bought a Bontrager sensor from another store instead (not my first choice!), and that one synced immediately. Maybe this works with Cateye's ANT+ stuff, but I thought that was the whole point of ANT+...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine I bought this sensor as an accessory to pair with the Stealth 50 Bike Computer. Installation was straightforward (the online videos were helpful) however it did not initially sync. It is necessary to first unscrew the battery cover with a coin and remove the tab that isolates the battery from the contacts for packaging. Also the contact prongs on the "+" side may need to be bent upward a little and the battery inserted carefully to fit against the "-" contacts to ensure it is powered. After doing this the sensor synced to the Stealth 50 as directed following the detailed menu instructions, and the speed and cadence rpm displayed on it accordingly. I did not get the HR sensor accessory since I already have a different wristband/chest strap unit, but may consider getting it later. The sensor works fine and I am very satisfied with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Only half Ant+ Speed works fine using Ant+, but cadence will not sync with the Garmin Fenix3. Which is too bad because cadence is the only reason I purchased this model. So much for the Ant+ communication standard and certification process....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No issues and accurate Bought this unit to pair with the Stealth 50, also a Cateye product. I had an initial issue with pairing, but once the head unit was fully charged, it found the unit instantly. Also, I did have to remove the little plastic tab on the battery - a possible missed item on the other review. I was replacing the Wahoo Speed/Cadence sensor because I changed from an iphone (which was acting as my computer) to an android device. As Wahoo does not support android, I was forced to make the move to another head unit. I weighed the option of going with the garmin, but for the cost/feature comparison, the only item I was missing was a map that tells me where I am, where I am going, and where I have been. Since I carry a phone with the option of having all of these features anyways, the basic GPS head unit (for those rides I know the routes to and want to track my performance) works for me. I got this on sale so the pair (sensor and computer) was 25% the cost of the Garmin unit. It works. It is within .3 mph when comparing it to a standard bike computer setup side by side for initial calibration tests. I am happy with the unit

I ordered this to use with a Cateye Padrone Smart computer, and my iPhone (6, if that matters).  My goal is to use computer, phone and cadence sensor together.  The graphic makes it look like I goofed, and should order a bluetooth sensor.  Is that right?

The Speed Cadence Sensor ISC-11 will only work with ANT+ devices. It will not work with any BlueTooth devices.
