Read More I ordered a M for my 9 year old son. He is 56" tall and well within the 55-59" range and weight range given in the size chart. The legs were just long enough but the torso is too short. Major wedgie and no room for longer adjustment in the strap. Now I have to pay for shipping to exchange. -

Read More I bought an XS for my 6-year old son with the expectation that he can use them again next year. He's very thin and around the 50th percentile for height. The XS is supposed to be for sizes 6/7, but at best I'd say that it's more of a 5/6. The legs seem OK on him, and maybe with the grow cuff we'll get them to work next year, but my concern is the torso portion. There isn't much room to adjust the shoulder straps. So moral of the story is that you should size up. Size concerns aside, these have been great bibs as far as I can tell. He's been out to play in the snow several times, and he's come back dry each time. He even went out to play on one of those polar vortex cold days and didn't complain at all about being cold. He stays warm and dry. For that reason I would recommend these bibs. Just get the right size! -
Jan 9, 2014Warm and DryMy son has worn these bibs for several days of playing in the snow and snowball fights. He's stayed warm, dry and comfortable no matter what the weather or his friends thew at him.
Read More The sizing just didn't work for my slim, average height six year old. They were way too slim in one size and then way too long in the next size up. I wish REI made their 'Timber Mountain' style bibs in sizes larger than 4T - those were the best!
