Aug 7, 2015Motorcycle Rain Gear
Read More I rode my Harley in the rain in Texas for five days straight back in May of '15. I forgot about my wet rain gear 'til August. My rain gear sat inside my saddlebag luggage inside my sealed saddlebag for three months. When I pulled it out it stunk of mold/mildew as did the saddlebag/luggage. I feared I ruined my expensive Cabelas Guide Wear rain gear. I submerged my gear and saddlebag luggage in a large plastic container along with the entire 8 oz bottle of McNett's Mirazyme, weighed it down and let it sit for 40 mins. When dry (no rinsing) the offensive smells were 90% GONE! I repeated this process again on my rain gear and for a third time on the saddlebag luggage. All smells are gone. I sprayed this product directly onto my saddlebag liner and let air dry, repeating the process a couple of times. I would highly recommend this product. I would recommend adding more product, longer soak times and repeating the process until the desired effect is achieved. GREAT for wet motorcycle rain gear that may have gotten have overlooked and developed mold/mildew odors
