Read More Fabulous in running and work environment with large numbers on dial. Knob on wristband excellent to hold excess band stable so does not roll or bend out of shape! I bought watch for HRM features, which took a little getting used to wearing the heart monitor over the heart with strap, and I can already see results from the data and adjusting my training. Am using at beginners level and see more features even for the professional, eg interval training, calorie burn etc. -

Read More I spend a lot of time on treadmills and other cardio equipment. The sensors on them are mostly OK, but some are pretty bad. When I can get this thing to register a pulse at all, it rarely climbs over 30 or not even half of what it should be reading. I adjusted the straps several tiems to no avail. It simply did not work for me at all. -

Read More Everything worked great until I had to replace the battery in the strap the first time at about the two-year point. After that, the monitor would only register about half my heart rate until I got well into my workout. I assumed the strap wasn't making contact so I tried different methods of wetting the contacts, but nothing worked. I tried replacing batteries on both watch and strap and pressing the reset button, but nothing helped. The company web site offered no suggestions and the HRM was out of warranty so it's time to junk it and try another brand. I won't buy another Timex since my wife's popular brand monitor has been working great for many years.
Read More Bought this 6 weeks ago, a good buy. I get a good short review of my exercise intensity, either in gym or on road. Calory counts are of high interest; they seem to be biased high by perhaps 20+%
