Read More I had my phone in this case over the weekend tubing in the Shenandoah River. I was playing music and it dropped into the river. I stared in horror hoping it would float... No it does not float. Thank goodness it was still playing music under the water. I dove in several times to pinpoint the location and managed to see the bright green case in the dark murky water. The bottom was approx 8-9 FT deep. This is rated for 1 meter = 3.2ft. I opened the case and my phone was still dry and music still playing. Get a carabiner and keep it on you or a rope. -

I will just highly recommend getting a lanyard so u can still be handfree when in some cases u need to focus on swimming or climbing because the case does not float. -

Read More I bought this for a day-long river kayak trip. I clipped it to my pfd so I could look at my phone for the time and to take pictures. I was most surprised by how easily you can use your device while it is in the pouch - it's basically the same as if it wasn't in there. The pictures actually turn out pretty good if you use it while it's in the pouch, not with the detail you would get normally, but pretty close. I got quite wet on this trip, but not a drop got onto my phone. Not a ton more would fit in there besides the phone (samsung galaxy) but I did have car keys and my ID in there. I would highly recommend this, and it's cheap!! -

Read More I use this to carry my Android which I use as a GPS on weekend hikes. I have it secured across the top of my daypack by the handy eyelets at the top and two 18" Nite Ize gear ties attached to my pack. The velcro seam at the bottom is very secure while still allowing easy access, and since it is at the bottom of the pouch, the contents stay dry inside. I would give it five stars except the plastic leaves a foglike residue on the glass of my phone which wipes away easily. I've experience this with other plastic pouches and the first person who comes up with a nonfogging version gets five stars from me. -

Read More I firts used the case to bring my smartphone to a boat trip at Ribera Maya, it was great, we swam through crystal clear channed connecting lagoons and the ocean and I was able to swim and take pictures with my phone. If even float in a vertical position so the phone will not go to the bottom. The touch screen works great and the pictures look great. My kids try at the pool and they said the screen gets confused if you bring it to 3 or more feet underwater, because of the pressure of course. -

Read More got this to protect my cell while hiking, biking, on the motorcycle, and anything i do in the great northwest... i use it mainly at work. being a landscaper in the bham area, i have killed a couple cells from the rain. even with rain gear, you get soaked some days anyway, but cell stays dry now...well built, cuz i use it everyday and have no choice but to put it in the worst-case rain, mud, dirt, dust, ice, snow, fertilizer, chemicals, grease, gas. everything...however, i know it won't last forever, but i sure have got my money worth out of it in a few months... -

Read More I have used this case many times out on the lake and river to house my iPhone 4s. It does a great job at keeping the water away from anything you store within this pouch. When used with an iPhone, or any smartphone for that matter, you are able to access the device through the plastic membrane. As a bonus you can also use your devices camera through the membrane and the shots actually come out pretty clear. One note of caution...this will not fit a phone larger tan an iPhone 4s, otherwise a great case.
