Jan 9, 2016looks great, performs okI've tried a few saddles and will probably still be looking. This saddle is comfortable for shorter rides (20-ish miles), but starts to get a bit uncomfortable around 40-50 miles.

Read More I really like this seat. Like an earlier reviewer, I had troubles with it creaking. Then realized I had the seat set too far to the rear. slid it forward so it was within the measured guidelines on the seat and no more squeaks! Also a very comfortable seat. I'v ridden many times over different terrain and distances, and no soreness. A little more than I wanted to pay, but worth the money. -
Nov 10, 2014Light and ComfyThe weight difference to my old seat is completely obvious. It is very comfortable on bumpy rocky mountain routs.

Read More My mountain bike came with a competitive seat with basically no padding. I ride about 16 miles twice a week in the Penasquitos Canyon. We are in southern California and ride in temperatures between 40 and 108 degrees for 2 hours at a time. This seat was recommended by a store expert and I bought it knowing I could bring it back if I was not happy. My first 2 hour ride was at 103 degrees and this seat was terrific. Normally my butt hurts when I on my last mile so I have to switch cheeks to finish the ride. I could have gone again it was so comfortable. The seat was easy to get off of and behind so as to be in the correct riding position. It kept the crotch area cooler and kept the sweat from chaffing my legs. It allowed my to do my second ride this week with no pain. I love this seat. If you get it positioned right for you, you will love this seat. -

Read More I've had this comfortable seat on my mountain bike for a couple years now. It's gotten more than moderate use. It has become incredibly squeeky and noisy to the point of great distraction. I've used oil and WD-40 on it, but my guess is that there are too many assembly pieces that accommodate air-flow ("Respiro"), resulting in really irritating noise. One can say the seat has gotten old, OK, but it's not that old. I shall buy a different saddle. I think the "respiro" function is detrimental to the saddle integrity over too short a time, and provides minimal relief anyway. -
Mar 12, 2014Great saddleVery comfortable on long rides. Good padding which is very helpful on bumpy New York City streets.

Feb 28, 2014Great SaddleThis seat has been great, I do mostly trail riding and some longer street rides.
Read More I have tried both the Respiro and Lookin saddles from Selle Royal, both in the "athletic" models. Both seemed to high quality. The Respiro was definitely less bulky and therefore, lighter weight. It was a bit narrower than the Lookin saddle as well. For me the Lookin was a better fit. I would suggest trying out each saddle to see which fits you best. But by all means, this is a well built saddle.
