Read More Useful array of compartments, spacious. Back is not overly stiff or excessively padded like many other daypacks. Main compartment zipper is very sturdy but other compartment zippers are flimsier and tend to catch. Small padded pocket at top for phone / glasses / etc is a nice touch. Straps are comfortable, including chest and waist straps. -

Read More I bought this backpack for my high schooler. When it arrived - I asked him if he thought it would work for school, he said "Yeah, it's fine". High praise indeed from a 15-year old boy!!! He hasn't said anything about it not being a good pack, so I can only assume that it is great! Lots of pockets and good quality - works for a parent!
Read More I received this as a replacement for a pack I bought several years ago that finally gave out. I was sent a cheaper version and then upgraded to this version. The overall quality of the pack is just poor. The material seems weak, most of the zippers are terrible (they stick and are flimsy/feel weak) and it is not as comfortable. For the price, consider purchasing an REI brand pack. Yes, Jansport has their lifetime warranty policy, but I have a feeling mine will come in handy sooner, rather than later. If you have been thinking about getting this pack, I suggest you look t another brand-especially for the price. my old bag that this replaced was half about 30 dollars cheaper and twice as durable. Jansport... You failed.
