Read More I use these straps to ensure locking lids on storage containers for long-term storage in the garage, in the attic, and under the house. They are easy to cinch down tight, yet simple to unlock by a single person. We also use several of these these straps to shrink and hold the storage size of our artificial Christmas tree when folding up the branches and returning it to its storage box, year after year. These straps used to be available at the stores for individual purchase, but now they mostly are sold in-store as two to a card. Also, they used to come in more colors, especially the bright blue, and now not all lengths are available in that blue color in the stores. Color availability is my only negative comment. Other than that, these straps are great for everything, and I am happy that REI still stocks them in stores for quick availability when you really need one more for a project! -
Jan 23, 2014Worked for meWorked great as a belt for our snow pants. No need to buy a more expensive one when this one will do the trick for us. The price was right too.
