Read More I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR in early February. Shortly after, I purchased the Fitbit Aria smart scale. I would classify myself as someone that is fitness focused. Measuring and charting my BMI intrigued me. The scale looks very sleek. It appeared to provide a very accurate read for my body weight. However, 8/10 times I would receive an error that it was unable to read my BMI. I researched this issue online, and it appears as though this is an ongoing problem with the Aria. Most sites showed that the error was a result of either the scale being dirty (if that is the case clean with a paper towel and windex) or a user's feet being too cold. I cleaned the scale and tried to warm my feet, but I still received the BMI error far too often to justify paying $129 for an item that only performs its intended function a fraction of the time it is being used. Because of that, I returned this item. I would not recommend this item to others until that issue is resolved. Additionally, even though the scale is wifi capable, it would be nice if it were also able to sync with a fitness tracker or smartphone through bluetooth connections. -

Read More I've had the scale since January. Setup was not difficult, but takes a bit of effort. Sychs pretty well with the Fitbit iPhone app, with some delay of having the info displayed on the main screen. Seems accurate for weight. Not sure about body fat%, but is as good as any other household scale. Pricey, but a nice way to automatically log your weight and bodyfat%. A little ironic that it allows me to be lazy about the tracking. -

Read More I recently purchased a Fitbit Flex and saw that there was a corresponding scale that syncs wirelessly with your Fitbit account. I ordered the scale in black and have been very pleased. One caveat, it is a little pricey as far as scales go. Set up was fast and easy. The thing that took me the longest was to find my WiFi password. Other than that, set up took under 3 minutes. I know you shouldn't weigh yourself every day, but I love weighing in first thing in the morning and then after a hard cardio workout. I love how the information - weight, body fat percentage, and BMI - are synced to your Fitbit account so you can see your progress. If you have the means, I highly recommend. -
Jun 10, 2014Works great! Both site details and site reviews were accurate, works as advertised and is very easy to set up. Watch out if your feet are wet, as it gets slippery on the glass top.

Read More I picked up Fitbit Aria to pair up with Fitbit Force that I have been using since beginning of the year. I was in need of a new scale so timing was perfect. So far I am really enjoying the product. Wireless synch up of the data makes it very convenient. Body fat % was an eye-opener. Prior to the purchase, I was a bit concerned about the setup as that seems to be the biggest complaint about Aria. But I did not run into that issue. I was recommended to use smartphone to set this up. Using this method install was quick and smooth. If you are using any Fitbit product, I would highly recommend Aria as a combo package. -

Read More Didn't have any trouble setting up the scale on the network. It is very consistent with our old scale. The BMI values are probably not very accurate, but I still look forward to watching them get smaller. Only downside, is I haven't figured out a way to NOT save a value... so even the "day-after" readings get saved and reported on my FitBit progress screens. I suppose that should offer some motivation to be better when eating out... -
Jan 8, 2014Help track weightlessGreat Scale for keeping up with weightloss
Read More Loved it when it was working, but now returning my second one in two years. First one stopped giving accurate weight (light by 20-30lbs) which couldn't be fixed. This second one now wont turn itself off, runs all night and day until batteries die. I'm 6'5, 240lbs, must be too much man for this scale. Also, 2/4 of the times I had to set it up, it was a huge pain, taking over an hour troubleshooting. Other two times it took 5 minutes. No differences in location or wifi network. Anyway, was nice when it was working, going to try the Withings now.
