Read More I work as an outdoor adventure guide and spend 130 + days a year camping/backpacking. Until this past year I always did the ol' stuff the stuff sack full of extra clothes and have it constantly shift and never have the right support thing. Then my mother bought one of these and I tried it out and fell in love! If you are on the fence about adding a Fillo to your backpacking kit, it is certainly worth it's weight and space as a splurge comfort item! Pros: Very comfortable, compact, has held up well these past 6 + months of high use, washable case! Cons: Slides around a bit when not nestled properly into sleeping bag. -

Read More Sadly, I had to return this pillow. It was just too uncomfortable. I wanted to like this pillow, because of its weight and size, but it was just not comfortable for me. Pros: Light, small, straps on underside allow you to cram in clothes to loft up pillow Cons: Crinkly sounding, uncomfortable, not enough lift for your head for side sleepers. I am a side sleeper and this pillow is just not thick enough to properly lift my head up. After 3 nights of trying to sleep with this pillow, I had terrible neck pain. I currently use a thermarest compressible pillow and I much prefer thermarest to this pillow. It provides much more lift. Plus, this pillow is really loud unlike the thermarest. If you are a back sleeper and want a firm pillow, then this is probably the pillow for you. If you are a side sleeper and want something that will lift your head up, then this is not the pillow for you. -

Read More I've had mine at least two years and gave Fillos as gifts to 2 others. The wt. seems a good trade-off for comfort sitting or sleeping. My daughter and I will take them on our Camino de Santiago next year. Only fault has been one loop holding the elastic stuff cord on the back detached and needs minor sewing to repair. The nylon loop should be heat sealed on the end to help the sewing from slipping through so be careful pulling on it. -

Read More After many restless nights on the trail using crumpled-up clothes or other makeshift pillows, I decided to invest in a quality backcountry pillow. Because I am a side-sleeper, I needed to find one that had enough height and bulk to support my head. I used it for the first time last night and loved it. The combination of the inflatable air bladder and memory foam is perfect--it's the ideal height and very comfortable. I did not need to add any bulk under the pillow in the elastic netting on the bottom side of the pillow, but YMMV. It also fits inside the pillow pouch of my Big Agnes Encampment sleeping bag. This pillow is expensive, but worth every penny. -

Read More I've had this pillow for a few months and have carried it on 3 backpack trips so far. I plan on using it on a 100+ mile event coming up this summer. I am very pleased with the features, comfort and quality. Given my 50+ age I've found having a good quality pillow allows me to sleep better and avoid a stiff neck in the morning. I bought mine direct from Nemo becuase the local gear shops didn't have the type or color selection.

Read More I like my pillow on the softer side. The problem with most camping pillows is when I let 1/4 to 1/3 of the air out, it rolls up around my face like a taco shell. Not this pillow. It takes a little fine tuning each time I use it, but I can make this pillow feel just like the one at home. The memory foam separates it from all the other inflatable pillows. They pack up pretty small into their own attached stuff sack. My daughter & I both have one.
