Read More I bought a brand new bed at my local REI. Had to return it because the fan would not work, and you can not blow it up without the fan. I charged it more than the suggested 12 hours, and it would die after 10 seconds of running. I presume it is comfortable mattress if the fan works, but I did not get a replacement because of the amount of noise the plastic makes in contact with any material. -

Oct 5, 2013Used the new bed for a long weekend.stays inflated. Three nights without a touch up inflte. Did not use a sheet under the bag...some noise but not enough to worry about. I will try a sheet under next time.

This Kelty air mattress is excellent!!! With me, my wife and our 7 months old on it. did not lose any air or maybe very minimal, very comfortable, no pvc smell at all, very easy to inflate and deflate, and i love the storage bag. We are going camping again this weekend and cannot wait to show off my new bed to all my friends. Thank you to all the wonderful staff of REI in Saratoga for their expertise, knowledge, and awesome customer service. They help me decide on this purchase and have no regrets. -

Read More It has been used daily for three months without requiring any air adjustments. this is the best air mattress I have ever owned. I have had so many and thrown so many out over the years it's not funny. Most of the vinyl mattresses are absolute garbage (including Coleman). This one packs in half the size of its bag and weighs about 1/4 of a vinyl one. After this experience I won't buy any other brand. -

Read More I purchased this bed in San Diego because my old mattress had leaks (Coleman) I spent a little more than I wanted to but needed it for the 3 Day 60 mile walk and I HAD to have comfort. This bed was very easy to inflate and I did not have to re-inflate it at all on my 3 Day journey like I did with my old Coleman. I would highly reccommend this bed to anyone who likes to sleep comfortably when camping and who doesn't want to schlep around a big bed.
