Read More I purchased these sandals 2 years ago and have only had light wear. I liked them because they are comfortable and have an enclosed toe. I discovered a design flaw that is significant, where the flexible strap around the heal attaches to rigid upright strap in the back (where the Keen emblem is), the stitching has ripped out on both shoes. The warrantee is only for a year and you are paying for what is supposed to be a quality product. -

Read More I've been wearing these sandals practically everyday for the past month-and-a-half. They're among the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. However, don't think you can wear them for serious hiking. Their soles are too thin to cushion your feet from rocks. They're meant for walking on smooth surfaces, in in that regard, they excel. -

Read More I had a concert to attend in 100 degree heat, and I needed good sandals that would compliment my kilt that I could also wear in the woods, and wetlands as well . I knew Keen Clearwater CNX was the shoe for me the minute I tried the R shoe one on. Excellent right out of box is the best way to put it. I put them on in the parking lot at 11 a.m., and wore them all day long, got up this morning and put them right back on. Outstanding ! -

Read More I owned a pair of Keen H2's that lasted 7 years, and when they finally gave up the ghost I was in the market for a similar sandal that could easily transition from boats and water to dry land. I tried out everything available at REI including all manner or Chaco's and Keens and was really blown away by the fit of the CNX. I loved my H2's but after 7 years had forgotten that when new the H2's took a while to get used to and to break in. Not so with the CNX, with their lower profile sole they fit like a glove right out of the box. They are also a lot lighter weight than the H2. For me it was no brainer, better fitting and lighter weight, I came in fully expecting to buy a pair of H2's and ended up taking these home instead. My girlfriend went through a similar experience sandal shopping and also ended up with the Clearwater CNX. Simply put they are a great all around sandal, equally at home on the street, trail or in the water. -

Read More I own several pairs of Keen sandals & shoes . All are size 11, and all fit true to size. But these sandals seem to be a 1/4 size small. The next size up would likely be too large, so I returned them for refund. However, they looked good and were nice & light. If possible, try them on before buying. -

Read More I am not a sandal wearer. I don't like sandals. I don't buy sandals. But I needed sandals and/or water shoes for a trip to AZ. My wife sent me to WalMart for a discount pair that wasn't comfortable and unsightly. When I arrived at REI, I was lured to the Keen because it looked like a durable water shoe. Within moments of trying on the Keen, I knew the fit, protection, and comfort was for me. This week, I am in the AZ rivers with the Keens on and I am in total comfort. The water shoe allows me to hike in, go deep into the rivers, and hike out without cuts or pebble pressure pains. I would highly recommend the Keens for anyone not wanting a sandal, but a durable water shoe. -

Read More Prior to going on vacation, where I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking, about the Keen Clearwater CNX sandals and I'm glad I did. Very light weight and comfortable to walk in. I run a lot so I appreciate the comfort and support these sandals provide.
Read More The sandal seems durable and comfortable, but I'll have to return them for a different color. The picture for Raven/Tortoise Shell is incorrect. The actual color is grey with a ruddy copper accent. The Keen website no longer shows the grey and green as an available option and I'm assuming it was an older offering that has since been updated to what I received. Bummer.
