Read More My daughter chose this for its fun design and color (she chose the blue fish). The swim cap has held up very well over 2 summers, swimming 2 to 3 days a week. The cap is thick enough so that you don't feel it is too easy to puncture it while trying to stretch/pull it on. After 2 summers, there are no holes or weird poky stretch marks. I'm pretty careful when putting the cap on her. The cap also does a good job of keeping hair dry. My daughter (now 8 yrs) is petite with an average/small size head and straight hair that is halfway down her back. It is easy to tie her hair into a pony tail, roll it up and stuff into the swim cap. All her hair fits under the cap. Just make sure to push it all up high enough so that there isn't a large open gap at the bottom of the swim cap for water to seep in. Her hair comes out dry, or at worst, just slightly damp at the ends. The swim cap rinses and dries easily. I just rest it open on a bottle so that the inside can air dry too. One unanticipated added bonus about this cap is that it makes it real easy for me to find her in a big swimming pool full of other people. Just look for the bright blue swim cap. I'm pleased with how well this swim cap has held up and I am sure this cap will last through another summer with no problems at all.
