Read More The rim is wide and keeps the face and neck shaded. The adjusting band enabled us to buy it for our one year old baby, knowing it will be in use for at least two years which definitely justifies its price. Once the adjusting band was fitted (took more than a couple of tries...) the hat fits perfectly and our kid looks cool and comfortable. Since the hat is light whited, it doesn't bother him and he doesn't try to take it off. The round the neck band keeps the hat from flying whenever there's wind, especially since the rim is wide.
