Oct 29, 2014It will light it up.These make a great replacement for lanterns, when you remove the top. They defiantly light up what ever you want, and they do not require special weird batteries.

Read More Who hasn't owned a mini mag light? Great little light even though they were always woefully underpowered. Not any more! This little 2AA cell light puts out more light than more old 4D cell mag light does. So, good just got better. I'd love to see them make some improvements to the design, though. A button switch with momentary on/off would be awesome. -

Read More This fits in my hand perfectly for walking around town early in the morning, light for that purpose though I'm going to buy a AAA Maglite for backpacking. The edge of the beam reflects off stop signs more than a block away and the center bright spot gives true colors for flowers five or six feet away. No distracting rings in the light either, just the center zone of brightness. -

Read More This is the third mini mag led flashlight I have purchased. The first two were right after they came out, this new one I have had for 3 weeks. Same problem with all of them. After a few uses they start randomly shorting out and the light has to be bumped or shaken to come back on. I thought after several years that Maglight would have solved this. I've used their standard maglight for years and loved them. I'm an electrician, so they see a LOT of use. -

Read More Mini Maglite Pro 2 is a great tool. I own several of them personally and have provided one to each of the individuals on my field service team. Super bright and long lasting. The light is a high intensity white/blue color. If you need it for color representation or as a natural light replacement, go with the cheaper standard bulb model. If you simply need to see and see well, invest in this model. You will be happy. -
Dec 13, 2013Part the darknessHave 2 std Maglites, this is my second "Pro", the first one's on/off failed in less than a year. I hope that was just a fluke. It is a real flamethrower, out of the box:-)

Read More I have had two Maglite LED minilites: one with four switch settings and the current one with the low and high power switch options. Both have had issues with the light turning off. I plan to contact Maglite about this. Otherwise a good product.
Read More I don't know why people are so thrilled about this particular Maglite. Yes it's fairly bright, and the construction is solid as most Maglites are which is why it gets 2.5 stars. However, I'm guessing that none of these reviewers have any use for the Spot vs. Flood feature, which is painfully subpar. This is no acceptable "lensing" from spot to flood for a pro flashlight. Maglite made this LED version completely at the sacrifice of the functionality that has made it's standard models better than most others. I hope they dedicate some time to improving it. I would return it if I could.
