Read More I wear the tights under cold weather pants for cycling, under an insulated winter skirt. I wear the skirt and tights at work for a stylish look at work. The tights, pants, and skirt are a warm combination for biking to work. I bike at 10 degrees here. The tights get a little itchy by the end of the day. I've worn them 4 times this winter and haven't gotten any runs yet, but I am careful. -
Dec 5, 2013Best tights everI love the warmth of the wool. Not too thick or too thin just right.

Read More I'm sure they'd be nice tights for a more proportionally thighed woman, but I have naturally bigger legs and really muscly thighs. I could barely get them over my thighs. These are not the stretchy and cozy tights I used to get in England that I imagined these would be. Anyway, I tried sizing up, but they were awkwardly loose in the belly. Not a fan. Small waisted and big thighed women, steer clear. -

Read More I was so excited to find these tights! I had been wearing two pairs of tights because I was so cold here in Virginia. These tights are definitely warmer. YOu can only tell they are different from normal tights up close. My only concern is that they look like they will wear quickly with washing, so I'm not too sure about that yet. -

Read More I bought these for wearing with skirts, and also under jeans for extra warmth. They're very comfortable and cozy, I don't find them itchy at all. If you follow the washing instructions they last a long time, definitely longer than nylon tights. I weigh 125lbs and have a 33" inseam, and bought a medium. They fit fairly well, almost a little too short but I think a large might be too baggy. -

Read More I bought these because I was looking for some added warmth under my work slacks while I ride my motorcycle to and from work. They ARE very warm. Almost too warm. But disappointed in the quality for the price. They are very itchy, very thin in the crotch area, and too small/tight in the upper thigh/waist area. I bought the largest size REI had which was a LARGE. (I'm average build and wear size 12 jeans.) Wore them twice. I don't recommend these for extended or long term wear.
Read More The world is a magical place and life is an adventure, so sometimes you have to take risks, try new things and be vulnerable to time, tide and humanity, and no, not everything that happens happens for a reason but if you slow down and pay attention you can find value in even the most unpleasant experiences, and I really believe all of these things. However, if I had it to do over again, I would not blow $40 on wool tights. If you have legs that never come anywhere near each other, these are adorable and stay up really well. If you are going to walk a mile uphill from the bus stop, I'd skip 'em.
