But, after bombing around my local creek I found a flaw. The soles are a little too thin. It's been three days and I still have bruises on my feet. Also, and while no shoe may be up to snot slick boulders, these might as well have been greased. So while I like the shoe, I don't recommend it for anything but beach wear or kicking it in on your power boat. If you want a kayaking shoe, you should probably look elsewhere.
Read More I bought this shoe because I mainly canoe in a city, and need something I can walk into the water with and also bike in. This shoe does neither well; it's neoprene, so it's hot and uncomfortable until it gets wet, and in the water it doesn't drain well and the soles are slippery. Also, the soles are very thin, so biking in them is barely better than biking in socks. they are also very poorly constructed and will have a very short lifespan, as the soles are peeling away from the neoprene after a handful of uses.
