Read More Ok, I am a sock freak. There, i said it. The 25 year search for the perfect cycling and running sock may have ended. Perfect material weight for everything except super hot and super cold. Good fit and cuff length. I love wool socks, but some all wool socks are very prone to holes in the toe area, as wool tends to be weak in puncture resistance. These have a nylon toe area which seems strong. The ONLY downside is that while strong, the toe area gets a little cold on cooler rides as it is thin and lacks any wool to insulate. Small complaint really, I bought every pair in the store and will buy lots more to save for when they inevitably stop making them.
