Read More Another strong product from SmartWool. I have a few pairs of their PhD hiking socks and absolutely love them. These have seen a few 6-hour days on the hill at Mammoth Mountain and were just fine throughout. I haven't tried them in any single-digit temps but they weren't too hot in 50 degree weather so we'll see how they do. -

Read More This product is great for my snowboarding skiing trips. I normally have cold feet at the beginning of the day and then near the end of the day as my sweat starts to freeze in my boot. These socks insulate all day long never had cold feet the hole day and i was riding in powder on a 8 degree day. the only downside to the socks is they are no good for apres. The sock slides down your ankle and bunches on the toes if not in a boot. so bring after skiing/riding socks.
Read More I don't snowboard, never have, but these socks are perfect for the gap just below my wool cycling knickers. They're tall enough to make a passable full length tight combo when needed, or roll the down and just have regular socks/knickers combo. I do with they'd make them in cool graphic designs for us who use them this way. Great socks!
