Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great riding shorts I haven't decided if the shorts have too much padding because I am used to riding in a triathlon suit which has no padding. Definitely more comfortable for long rides, though. The fit is great (and I am big, especially in the thighs). No squishing to cause muffin top. I love them. I have done 2 long rides and many shorter rides in them and they still look brand new even after many washes. I would highly recommend these. They come in large sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love 'em I have some older Pearl Izumi shorts & they have an elastic waistband that is about an inch wide. When you put them on, you get a muffin top & they are a little uncomfortable when you lean over the bike. These new attack shorts have a wide panel instead of the waistband, so its more flattering & doesnt cut into your tummy. They also have a wide panel at the bottom of each leg, so they are more stylish than ordinary bike shorts. The length is just right!! I want to get another pair!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from PI attack shorts I recently bought 2 pairs of these. I like them except they are not durable. I am leaving in 2 days for a week long bike ride and just noticed that both pairs have a very thin patch about the size of a half dollar, like a hosiery run, in the top left near the tags. I've only worn the one pair 2x, the other pair has only been washed 3x, on delicate and air dried I am going to take them back tomorrow (I really don't have time for this as it is an hour drive each way). They better have 2 pairs in my size! I will call before I leave to make sure even tho the site says they do.These are a huge disappointment for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shorts for long rides I love these cycling shorts. I have "athletic" thighs and they are the most comfortable shorts I have found. They provide just the right amount of compression without being too tight. The waist is also comfortable and wicks moisture well. The chamois stands up to a weekend century ride with a little bit of chamois butter. I have owned many pair of cycling shorts and these are by far my favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! These are the first bike shorts I've purchased, and I love them! When I tried them on when they arrived, I didn't want to take them off! I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs. I usually wear a size 10 pant and I ordered a medium in these. They fit super well around my curvy hips. The padding is very thick and super comfortable, although I still need to apply chamois cream before longer rides to prevent any issues. I highly recommend these, and can't wait to get more Pearl gear as a result!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but not durable I love the fit and padding in these shorts! My first pair got a hole on the right leg that looked much like a run in nylon. I figured it was a fluke and returned them for a new pair. Now my second pair has a hole on the left side! This indicates that it can't be due to my riding style. I like the fit but they don't last more than 50 miles without showing wear. I think it is because of the low thread count.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shorts! I previously rode in a cycling skort, but with a newly acquired road bike was looking for something with more substantial padding. These shorts fit the bill perfectly! They're comfortable, not too bulky, and really work well for my road biking needs. Am going to buy a second pair this week!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life changing! I used to think bike shorts weren't for gals like me. I'm 5'9" and about 180 lbs. I was WRONG - the large size fits me perfectly, and as other reviews suggest, they don't give you a muffin top! Shorts with a chamois are seriously the best thing ever. I've ridden nearly 100 miles in the last couple weeks and my rear feels great. Man oh man, I could ride forever in these. I gotta get a second pair!
