Read More I got this stove because it was the only lightweight one I could find that runs off the LP propane commonly used in RV's (as opposed to the HP propane most camp stoves use). Not the best in the wind, but at 17kbtu it heats significantly better than the portable HP stoves. I simply plug this in to the recessed LP propane coupling on the side of my RV, and I'm ready to cook outside. I wouldn't use this for car or boat camping, where a more compact HP stove would be better, but for RV camping (or any camping where you might be taking a 20lb propane tank), this is perfect! -

Read More I bought this stove to use on rafting trips in CO. I used it with a small propane tank two or three times. The bottom of the stove has funky little feet that stick out and made it more cumber-sum to pack for starters. But the worst thing about this stove is I could not keep it lit in a decent wind. When I could keep it lit with homemade wind screens made of tin foil, it took forever to boil water. I would highly discourage this stove as a purchase unless your in a enclosed structure. -

Read More This stove was just the ticket. It is so lightweight and puts off so much heat and can cook about anything. I took this tailgating and it worked like a champ, we had fresh hamburgers in minutes! I couldn't ask for a better portable stove.
Read More What a well made stove. I bought this for our remote property in Alaska. It is one solid product. The burners are of the quality you would find in a product for your home. I wouldn't consider this as my portable camping stove. There are other products better suited for packing. I was surprised by reading that some people thought it didn't do very well in wind. We have some very heavy wind gusts in Alaska, and it never blew out....not once. I can use my All American Pressure Canner on this stove and be sure it is sturdy enough to handle the weight. Also being able to use it with a 20 lb LP propane tank with the accompanying adapter is a major plus. I would highly recommend this little beauty.
