Read More I bought this set and the smart wool set (both XS) for my 4 year old daughter to wear when she plays outdoors through the Norwegian winters. Although I preferred the smart wool underwear for its color, better fit and sizing, the itching from the wool was a show stopper for my daughter. Unlike the smart wools, I need to roll up her sleeves on the Patagonia top because they run long. Also I find the matching Patagonia pants to be quite baggy which must affect it's ability to provide warmth. The waist fits well - my daughter is average size for her age. This set is made of good quality and my daughter is happy with it, however I would have preferred a more snug fit.
